Beef at MATTHEWS is especially selected for its age, conformation, fat content and colour. Following a time honoured, laid down specification, all our meat is inspected on arrival at the store, checked for any contamination, checked for the temperature and checked for its suitability. Then it is stored in our chillers for up to three weeks. It is then cut and prepared in our Licensed, temperature controlled cutting rooms before being put up for sale. All this is aimed at giving you, the customer, superb quality meat that you will want to buy again and again. Our 54 years of specialist trading experience make us uniquely qualified to do this.
